Well, I can say without a doubt that this show not only met those expectations, but exceeded them in every way

I have never read the books (or even heard of them), but I have been looking forward to this since I first heard about it, and then my anticipation grew even more after watching the trailers. It’s probably best to watch it in one sitting because all the great cliffhangers make it hard to wait a week to see what happens next.

I also hate getting involved with a show that gets canceled without a proper ending

It has so many great twists and turns that you’ll be on the edge of your seat for the entire episode. I’m glad it got renewed so quickly because this is a show that could stay exciting for at least a few more seasons.

After watching several episodes, I can say that they nailed it

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon: Anthony Mackie/Ralph Macchio/Kiri Shabazz (2018). I was a teenager in the 80s and I loved watching this movie – as did most guys my age. I was a little skeptical when I saw they were making a new series that takes place 30 years after the movie ended. But when I saw the trailers, I thought they might be related.

It’s not overdone (or underacted)

This is the best show anywhere. It’s not stupid or goofy either. It’s perfectly balanced with a few goofs or 80s references thrown in here & there. This revival could have been a disaster, but it looks like they have the perfect writers, directors, and actors.

But as a 40-year-old – I’m kind of rooting for him

It’s funny because as a kid I wanted to punch Johnny in the throat as hard as I could. Great job to the people responsible for making this happen – and of course it couldn’t have happened without Ralph & William. Thank you!
